A Notary is a person who is authorized by their state to perform notarization services and must adhere to the legal requirements of the jurisdiction they are authorized to practice in.


A Notary Signing Agent is a Notary who has special training to handle loan document signings. 


No. SAR Notary & Professional Services is not an attorney and cannot provide any legal advice.


A mobile notary adds convenience to your notary experience by traveling to you.  Services are provided at your preferred location and time by a reliable, professional notary. 


Please ensure that any required witness, agent, and/or principal are present, aware and ready to sign. All parties must possess a valid, unexpired, government issued photo id for proper verification. Travel and applicable fees will still be due to notary if appointment cannot be completed due to the absence or preparedness of any parties.


Some examples of acceptable identification are listed below. 

  • State-specific ID card
  • State-specific driver's license
  • U.S. passport
  • U.S. military identification


No. The state of Georgia prohibits notaries from also acting as a document witness (O.C.G.A. § 45-17-8). Please make sure your document witness has an acceptable form of identification. 

In some cases, a document witness can be provided for you for a fee. This information would need to be communicated as part of the initial conversation.


Yes. Wedding location assistance can be provided for an additional fee.

As an authorized Notary and Notary Signing Agent, SAR Notary & Professional Services will not:

  • Fill in information on a document on the signer's behalf
